Vervain’s 2026 Fundamentals of Herbalism Course

About the Course

Join Vervain for a 10-month journey into the art and science of herbal medicine. This immersive program blends hands-on learning with deep study, guiding you through the seasons and the body systems to build confidence and skill in herbal practice.

Through small-group learning and mentorship, you’ll explore herbal energetics, plant identification, medicine making, and the ethical use of herbs for wellness and care. Expect to spend 20–30 hours outside of class each month completing readings, projects, and optional exercises.

Bring your curiosity—and prepare to engage your senses, intellect, and spirit in this foundational exploration of herbalism.

2026 Schedule

Classes meet 12–4 PM on the first or third Saturday of each month, February–November 2026

Refund & Withdrawal Policy — Fundamentals of Herbalism 2026

We understand that life happens, and we do our best to honor both the needs of our students and our teachers. Please review our refund and withdrawal policy before registering:

• Full Refund: Requests received by January 1, 2026 (30 days before class start) will receive a full refund, minus a $50 administrative fee.
• Partial Refund: Requests received between January 2–February 6, 2026 (within 30 days of class start) are eligible for a 50% refund.
• After Classes Begin: Once classes have started, tuition is non-refundable. However, students may:
  
  
  • Transfer their registration to another person before the second class, or
  • Request to defer their participation to the next year’s program (subject to approval and space availability).
• Installment Plans: Students using PayPal’s pay-in-four installment plan remain responsible for all scheduled payments per PayPal’s terms, regardless of withdrawal timing.

Vervain reserves the right to cancel or postpone a cohort if minimum enrollment is not met. In that case, all tuition and fees will be fully refunded.
